Friendly staff-room amenities let it down
5.0Staff were extremely helpful and room was clean
− Upon arrival, we were shown to own room, after unpacking I noticed there were NO towels. Once I mentioned this is was quickly resolved. However after returning to the room after a quick drink, my husband used the toilet and noticed no hand soap! There were also no toiletries as mentioned in the description. Very disappointed couldn’t even wash hands or have a shower with no toiletries. Couldn’t be bothered to ask again for basics so popped to local shop. Room was obviously not checked before arrival. Would have been nice to have room with a big bath but shower was fine. No bedside lamps.

− Tv reception constantly lost signal. Difficult to watch anything Shower pressure dropped right away at times

− Expected to see real ale, hand pulled, in the bar but none so was disappointed
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room basic but very clean.

Overall very good; All staff were pleasant and helpful, especially the Chef.

− The room itself I stayed in wasn't the best, having been descriped as Deluxe.
Fantastic staff and great food, in a pub with old world charm.
9.0I was leaving before the breakfast started so i was given the option of an evening meal on the night of my arrival.. Fantastic service and lovely food.
− The TV only had a few channels but nothing that really concerned me. and would definitely stay again.
