8.0Lokalizacja była znakomita. Z sypialni i salonu mieliśmy bezpośredni widok na ocean. Podobnie było z restauracją, w której były serwowane śniadania
− Uważam, że w tak klimatycznym miejscu zabrakło trochę spójności w sensie kulinarnym. Brakowało nam typowych dla Azorów produktów przy śniadaniu np. queijo fresco czy sera z wyspy Sao Jorge, herbaty z Sao Miguel czy azorskich ananasów. Również sama restauracja wieczorem serwowała np. ryby w sposób nieco "przekombinowany" z sosami, które "przysłaniały" ich naturalny smak.
Wonderful place on Pico to relax and enjoy the ocean on one side, and the mountain on the other side.
10.0The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable with plush pillows. This would be a wonderful place to relax for a long weekend. However, AzoresGetaways had us on a busy itinerary, so relaxation was minimal. So, we never used the swimming pool, never walked down to use the natural ocean pool, and were too full from lunch to enjoy a full meal at the restaurant. We did have appetizers and desserts and they were delicious. We also had breakfast buffet and although the menu was limited, we always had access to freshly cooked eggs and delightful coffee. What was on the menu was very tasty. We were so busy on our tours that we decided not to rent a car but that left us out of walking distance from Madalena. However, our hotel manager, Ana Paula, set up taxi service as needed, so we always had transportation to get where we needed to go when we needed to be there. Ana Paula is a wonderful human being and was extremely helpful while we were on Pico, and we had a lot of contact with her well before we came to the Azores, so we felt prepared for what to expect when we got there. Nothing could have prepared us for what we saw on the island. Pictures do not do justice to how stunning the scenery was.
