Justo al lado de una vía de tren

El personal muy agradable, llegamos con quemaduras del sol y el personal nos proporcionó crema y aloe vera.

− Muy cerca de la vía del tren, a las 6 de la mañana empieza a pasar los trenes y es imposible dormir. Aunque no es culpa del hotel, nos comieron las chinches que había en la cama. Tuve que tomar antiestaminicos

− 3% commission on cards - could tell me that beforehand sometimes electricity goes off - it is a problem of Sri lanka in general but could put some auxilary sources of electricity

Decent stay

Good central location, near by main roads and beach. Beach is 5-7 min walk. Bus station 10. And a lot of tuktuk around to drive you somewhere. We liked the view out of our window, and we even saw some rare monkeys playing around, which was fun.

− For some reason, they made all the doors kind of glass/ tinted/ see through. Which resulted in that it’s never felt dark or private in the rooms. Even at night here is light coming through the door from the lights in the hallway or even from other rooms. The picture was taken at 06:00 in the morning. And whole hotel is very loud. Not from the train or outside traffic, but of the bad acoustics inside. Everything is tiled, so it echoed!! Multiple guests were having long conversations at 06:45 in the morning each day, waking us up.

The staff at I Resort were very friendly and helpful, small staff team who helped us with anything including booking sun loungers on the beach. The rooms were very clean and spacious, comfortable with air conditioning upon request. Good Wi-Fi also!

Staff were very friendly. Good location. Probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed. All I saw was people cleaning all day.
