Cabin in the jungle
10.0Doug is a very nice host. The cabin was in the trees, in a beautiful landscape, and I could hear and see frogs, parrots, and other birds.

10.0Wonderful place near Ojochal! So beautiful. The property is really unique and the owner takes amazing care of it. Such neat touches - the bathroom is really beautiful with handmade clay features. Hot water! The owner blows off all the leaves on the walkways daily which I think must help with the fact that we had no insects. Property is super tight. Kitchen has all essentials and we were able to make meals. No monkeys seen but heard the howlers and there were tons of birds of all kinds. Lots of toucans. And I finally got to see a red eyed tree frog! Property is beautifully landscaped and if you take a walk down the road you'll find even more incredible birds including the montezuma bird. Had a fun dining experience on a Friday evening in Ojochal listening to live music during dinner. Highly recommend!
