8.0The scenery is beautiful here. The rooms are basic but serve their purpose. We didn’t spend much time in the room. The hotel is near other hotels that have more amenities and you can use them if you eat and drink there. The food at Bungalows is expensive

8.0This is good value compared to other hotels in the area. Bungalows are basic but have the necessities (fan, bed net). Staff are unctuously helpful but could make it nicer by varying their music selection (we do not need to hear Dolly Parton every day, all week) and making some better decisions about meals (fish tortillas is not a legitimate combination). But overall the food is good.

6.0Rashid was terrific and the location is good. It's 50m from the beach, and once you're on the beach, everything is convenient. There's fruit and food stores a short walk in the other direction. Paje is a short drive. Our only negative comment is that it was very hot. All rooms have ceiling fans but it was 28C to 31C outside and I don't think it was any cooler inside. You do not seem to get the cooling ocean breezes at night that you might at a waterfront hotel.
