Shame I only needed a day!
10.0Friendly welcome. Lovely traditional room. Powerful shower with complimentary shampoo conditioner and body wash. Angelo was a star and even helped with bags to next hotel. Wished I needed to stay longer.

10.0Angelo was great. He makes the very best coffee and fruit preserves. He picked us up from airport promptly and also took us to the pirt the next day. He was a great host.

10.0All were excellent. Some more heating during late hours perhaps needed, but not an issue. Angelos was very kind, a real gentleman. He gave me a complimentary ride to the airport at 5 in the morning! Thank you Angelo.!

10.0This is a spotlessly clean room ( even nicer than the picture which makes it look small) with triple windows and nice bathroom and very quiet and comfortable. The bathroom had hair dryer, soap, conditioner and nice towels, plus bathtub and shower (much bigger bath than any place we stayed in three weeks in Europe). No reception, but communication with Angelo was prompt and easy and he met us on arrival. It’s walkable (about 8-10 min) from the train station and Angelo was able to drive us to the airport in the morning, which made departure less chaotic for us. He is a lovely man with a gentle manner. There are few places to stay near Trieste airport if you don’t have a car, so this rental is highly recommended. There are several restaurants nearby that serve local fish from a fishing cooperative - excellent calamari! We would have been happy to stay for a few days if needed.
