Amazing location, super comfortable, everything I needed.

Budget-friendly option near Centro, but the beds and wifi need upgrading

I spent a week here and felt it was an alright value. Some positives: +Location: Just a block off the main street running through Centro, it's very easy to get to restaurants, shops, landmarks, etc. At the same time, it was very quiet inside the room. +The host, Angel, is very friendly and is eager to help you feel at home. E.g., he lent me a small fan upon request (which saved my life!). He doesn't speak too much English, but is plenty patient if your Spanish isn't great or have to rely on Google Translate. +Budget: While the room was small and very basic, the cost of staying here was quite low. So even though the comfort wasn't 10/10, I didn't at all feel cheated. +Kitchen: it's shared, but there's a large fridge, appliances, free water, and a couch to chill on. Beware of the mosquitoes though!

− Room for improvement: -The beds are brutal (yes, plural, as Angel got me a slight upgrade after my first night) - little twin mattresses, pretty hard, low-quality pillows. -Shared bathrooms: I don't know if I thought I'd have my own private bathroom, or if I just forgot that it was shared, but it's never convenient when you need to get dressed in the middle of the night to hit the can. -Wifi was generally pretty slow. Don't try to do your live fantasy football draft on this network (like I did). -Be prepared to deal with mosquitoes, small cockroaches, and the like. It's not terrible - the place is overall quite clean - but it could bother those who are squeamish around bugs.
