7.0The room was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located in the city center. The host was exceptionally kind and helpful. Although our booking did not include parking (it was reserved for families), she kindly allowed us to park our car on the property, which we really appreciated.
− Our room was on an upper floor, and there were quite a few stairs to climb, making it difficult to carry our luggage. Also, the parking policy could be explained more clearly to avoid any confusion.

9.0Fantastic location right in the middle of Reykjavík. Newish kitchen with everything you need to make a meal. Comfortable beds. The included parking spot for the larger apartments is a great bonus and rare for the central location
− The parking spot for the penthouse apartment is a challenge - very tight, hard to back into. With a compact SUV (Jeep Compass) it's difficult but doable, anything larger (e.g. Landcruiser, somewhat common in Iceland) it would be impossible. The apartment has gotten on in years. While the kitchen and bathroom are fairly new, the rest needs some renovations.
Overpriced, noisy. let down by the hosts. I would look around before choosing this place.
4.0Very central location on main shopping street.
− We arrived to find the fire alarm going off during which we were calling the hosts to get the key entry code and couldn't hear them. The hosts promised they would send a maintenance guy but no one turned up. After about an hour of the fire alarm ringing in our ears one of the other guests thankfully was was able to turn it off although the net day it went off again!. The main glass front door to the building was smashed and it looked like it had been like that for some time. There were dedicated off street parking but we were told we couldn't use it as it was only for guests that were staying in the bigger apartments. The apartment was very small and the front large window looked right onto the shopping street so it was like being in a shop window. On our second night builders were hammering and drilling until 1030pm in the shop under our apartment until I asked them to stop.

− The bed is not exactly arranged as it is in the picture. And we can hear some road noise at night.
